Coliform Bacteria Testing

Coliform Bacteria testing determines the bacterial safety of drinking water. If coliform bacteria is detected, Biomarine performs a confirmation to determine if E. coli is present. E. coli is a result of human or animal waste contamination.

Sampling Instructions:

Remove the aerator from the faucet head, wipe the faucet head with a dilute bleach solution, inside and out. Run water for two minutes. Collect sample in Biomarine approved sterile container, taking care not to touch the inside of the container or the faucet head after sterilization.
