We understand the rigorous requirements of global standards for food safety and the associated government and third party audits. We work closely with our customers to help them meet their BRC (British Retail Consortium), SQF (Safe Quality Food) and HACCP requirements. Biomarine maintains ISO/IEC 17025:2005 accreditation, which gives your third party auditor and customers the confidence that your products are being tested by a laboratory that conforms to global laboratory standards.
Biomarine is trained to conduct sampling of frozen goods, cheeses, spices, ice creams, etc. for private testing as well as compliance testing required by the USFDA and local/state Public Health Departments. We are also regularly hired by other laboratories to perform compliance sampling.
Biomarine has over 20 years experience with the FDA, specific to seafood imports. We are happy to review your FDA Notice of Action or other regulatory requirements and provide you with practical and cost effective solutions. If we do not perform the required testing at our facility, we will help you find a laboratory that can.
